I totally recommend this to anyone who likes sweet, funny, sexy and light reads. It's just great. I can't wait to read the rest of the series and the two more books about Simon and Caroline. Sadly or purposefully the author only made this first book available on KU, so I'll have to wait it out so I can download the rest of the series.

But anyway, I'll be worth it, I just know it. Adorei este romance.

Muito bom. If you're looking for a light reading, funny amd romantic this is the book!

You'll fall in love with the characters and laughb at every page! I typically don't let minor errors in a book stop me from enjoying it. But for some reason, this one, to use the same kind of trite phrasings the people in this book were wont to say, 'had me at hello'.

Caroline moves into a new apartment and the first few nights there wakes up because her next door neighbor is having massive amounts of sex; their beds share a very thin wall apparently. However, the next few days Caroline is living at her peephole so she can get a glimpse of her neighbor She tries to get a glimpse of him as he's saying goodnight to the women he's given gargantuan amounts of pleasure too. And throughout the book, she hears knocks on his door and sees people across the hall at his door all women of course.

See a Problem?

I haven't lived in an apartment in a long time, but there is no way someone who lives across the hall from you is also going to share your bedroom wall. Just sayin'.

As for the people in this book, the wit and fun the writer tries to have them exude is exhausting. And eyerolling. They love to party and go out and cook and go on vacation together and get drunk and tease and have sex I don't know of any single, modern woman who'd say something like that, and unfortunately the book is riddled with sayings my mother or grandmother might have said.

And then of course, we can't leave out the O. A woman who talks about her orgasms in a single letter reference, and then we learn she also talks to her orgasms.

Eventually she even sees her O as a red-haired lady in some deep pool trying to escape. I wanted to tell Caroline that the reason she probably isn't having an orgasm is because she's turned it into the most ridiculous thing ever. Go see a shrink or your Gyno or something. Just stop talking to your vagina for gods sake. Simon is a lot better written, at least he acts like a guy-manwhore that he's supposed to be.

At least he did for the first part of the book. I'm not really sure why he was interested in Caroline other than the obvious, not sure where the whole love thing came in, but that's probably because this book and I just didn't mesh. Wish I could get my money back.

Compra verificada. After reading two dud books in a row, I got my mojo back, just like Caroline you'll have to read it to get it! I decided I had to read this after seeing all of the 5 star reviews.

And I am SO glad that I did! I haven't smiled and laughed so much at a book in a while! Okay, I realize that I've used an exclamation point at the end of nearly every sentence, but they are to show you how great the book is!!! I wish I could think of something to criticize about this book, but I can't. If anything, I'd criticize that it took them way to long to finally have sex, but then once they did, we are rewarded with like three solid chapters of love making, so I have to take that criticism back, as the wait turns out to be worth it ; I think some would label this as a enemies-to-lovers story.

I hate it when the 'enemy' part is drawn out and dragged on through an entire book and not given up until the very end. The topics Ms. Clayton dealt with in romantic relationships in this book were: And it all rolled out so flawlessly! I know, I used that word already, but that's what this book is! Completely, utterly in love. My cheeks ache from laughing.

My heart is happy. Did I mention I love this book? This book was pure, decadent, lighthearted, un-put-downable, FUN!! A well-written, perfect blend of all things happy, romantic, sweet, funny hilarious, really , melty, swoony, witty, steamy, with just enough tender, deeper moments to make my heart squeeze. I fell in love with everything — the characters, the writing, the story… and Clive.

The most awesome cat ever to grace the pages of a novel. It was just one winning line after another. I swear to freaking God, more than half my book is highlighted. No joke!! The banter!

Well this is the second time i have read this story and its just as good as the first time. I love Simon and Carolyn, especially their banter. I cant wait to read the next book in this series. I have reservations about fan fictions like this one you'd wonder how in the world these characters were essentially the same ones as the Twilight mains , but it's a great and funny read.

It gets a little too long, too dragging near the end, but otherwise something I think every romantic comedy fan will enjoy. I really enjoyed this book. It was funny, witty, an extremely entertaining. Two thumbs up. It was a great read.
